Join us on January 25 to Kickstart Your Career in Entertainment in LA

Welcome to the LifeLaunch in LA program, a full day workshop for January 25, 2025! You will hear from entertainment industry leaders, talk to young alumni who are working in the space, and get hands on experience practicing your craft, budgeting, and networking.

Please stay for the industry mixer happy hour after the workshop. 

The full day workshop costs $225, with scholarships for current students and young alumni in Class 2024-2020. Breakfast and lunch covered.

Joan Harrison is a respected media executive who has run divisions at CBS and Discovery. She graduated from Penn on full scholarship, where she founded the groundbreaking women's comedy troupe Bloomers. Joan is passionate about helping young people navigate the challenges of early adulthood and empower them with local LA knowledge & industry powerhouses.

Diyi Zhu

Co-Founder

Duke ’17

Professional community coach Diyi helps young adults establish and maintain habits for a life of mental and physical wellness.

Based in San Francisco, Diyi holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics and Finance from Duke University. She has extensive experience in community management, program development, and user research.
